As a family business first and foremost, educational projects hold a special place here at Caughley & Co. St Brendans College – a day and boarding college – presented us with the opportunity to once again demonstrate our passion to create clean and comfortable spaces for staff and students. The St Brendans student dormitory bathrooms and showers required comprehensive refurbishments, and new lunchroom and office areas were needed for staff.
Working in a regional location over the Christmas holiday period presented challenges of stringent deadlines and constraints in material availability and subcontractor schedules, so our team dove in to do what we do best – we tapped into our robust industry network, leveraged our resourcefulness, and utilized our technical know-how. The outcome? A rejuvenated dormitory space and enhanced staff amenities with a modern design approach, ensuring a blend of functionality and inspiration for both the teaching fraternity and the student body – all ready in time for the start of the new school year.
