The renovation and refurbishment of Level 1, 175 Eagle Street was extensive, aimed at improving both functionality and aesthetics.
Caughley & Co, undertook the ambitious transformation of the river-end area, creating a visually stunning boardroom that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. This boardroom, complemented by an expansive open-plan breakout space, offers Talbot Sayer clients and staff an inviting environment to relax and enjoy, all while being immersed in the breathtaking river views.
To ensure a cohesive and efficient workspace, additional office spaces and storage solutions were thoughtfully integrated into the main floor layout by local architects Bear Space. Recognising the importance of acoustics in an open-plan office, Caughley & Co introduced coloured acoustic screens. These screens not only add a vibrant touch to the interior design but also significantly enhance sound quality, creating a more comfortable and productive atmosphere for all. The result is a harmonious blend of style, functionality, and comfort, perfectly tailored to meet the needs of Talbot Sayer.
Behind the scenes, our team worked around the clock to stay within project deadlines for delivery prior to the Christmas period. This involved meticulous attention to long lead-time items imported from overseas, which were essential in shaping the refurbished space. Key to this was the custom lighting sourced from local architectural lighting and design company, Caribou.
The renewed space is a testament to our commitment to practical solutions, timely delivery, and working with our clients towards a project that meets their vision. Alongside renowned architect, Julia Tamatea, we transformed a functional space into a lively, refreshed environment that not only looks great but also enhances productivity and client satisfaction
Caughley & Co did an incredible job on our fit-out at Talbot Sayer.
